The dark green leaves
of this evergreen shrub are edged in light yellow. It shows a very good variegation
all through the seasons, completed by light orange tints in autumn and rose in
winter.
The dense and even appearance has the form of a spreading ball.
Height
: 1,20 m Spread : 1,50 m.
In May and June this shrub is covered with simple
pure white flowers of medium-size (3 - 4 cm). The shining yellow-orange stamens
contraste beautifully to the petals. The flower buds are delicately tinted in
red.
Uses
It
can be grown in any type of soil under the condition that it's well drained; it
supports dry soil, even chalky.
Resists pollution and spray drift.
Must
be protected in winter only in a very cold climate.
Planted in a sunny position

Cut back the tips of
the shoots lightly at the end of winter.
