Characteristics:
Obtained by M.F. DOLL - European P.B.R.
DOLCE ® Gipsy is shrubby and well branched,
producing a multitude of 'lacecap' flowers. It has a rounded form and is a medium
grower.
Height: 1.20m Spread: approximately 1.20m.
In June and July this
floriferous shrub produces countless flattened heads in a symphony of pinks. The
large sterile flowers are white, pale pink and then dark pink, in contrast to
the central disc of smaller fertile flowers which are a deeper shade.
The maroon
colour of the young foliage harmonises beautifully with the flowers.
Uses:
This shrub prefers a humus rich soil but can adapt to any substrate providing
it is kept moist. It is happiest in a semi-shaded position.
Perfect for small
gardens DOLCE ® Gipsy
