This
Weigela has variegated green foliage, edged in creamy yellow, which keeps its
qualities all summer long, even in full sun.
'Brigela'
is deciduous, very vigorous, and upright. It
reaches a height of 2.00 to 3.00 m and a similar spread.
Dark red flowers in
May and June on last year's branches are abundant.
Cut back hard after flowering
or by renewing the branches.
Uses
Hardy
and easily grown in any type of soil, as long as it is cool; prefers sunny or
half shady position.
With its variegated foliage and beautiful flowering, 'Brigela'
is ideal in groups or open hedges, in association with evergreens.
