Selected for its very compact, upright, not (or only slightly) winding growth, this jasmin variety does not need to be trained. Its growth with excellent branching makes the use of growth regulators unnecessary and is favourable for cultivation in small diameter pots.
From spring onwards, through to the frosts, the plant produces flowers of 8 cm diameter on average, where the bright red contrasts well with the large dark green to very dark green foliage.
Dipladenias are evergreen. It is necessary to bring the pots inside in winter, when temperatures drop to below 0°C.
Site in a sunny position but avoid strong direct sunlight.
Economic and long lasting for growers, LUTEVA ® Red 'Corentin' is ideal for pots, window boxes and flowerbeds alke.
Remove the faded flowers regularly to encourage the formation of new flowers.
In mild areas, cut the dipladenia back short (to 3 to 4 eyes), at the beginning of winter , the flowers will grow on the branches of the current year.
