Description

The range offers a wide choice of colours of flowers and foliage, flowering period and growth, going from the squat to the very upright. On its own or in association, in a group or isolated - each variety offers a real interest when used as pot-plants and grown in beds of peat-rich soil in smaller gardens, or in vast collective areas.
Certain varieties can be artificially coloured, the paint nevertheless preserving the life of the plants. The GARDEN GIRLS ® go well in a number of floral compositions.

You find a selection of the best varieties distributed by SAPHO, according to the date of their first flowers:

  • - Summer Line groups together the early varieties which start flowering in August;
  • - the Main Line varieties start in September (Mid-Season);
  • - Late Line reunites the late varieties blooming from October onwards.

Care

Cut off wilted flowers at the end of winter.

Range

These selections of the GARDEN GIRLS ® range with their abundant, long and distinctive flowers add considerable qualities to the different kinds of heather.
In bloom between August and December, according to the varieties, they show a real improvement in comparison with the classic varieties.
They also distinguish themselves by their flowers which don't bloom but stay as buds.
This particularity is doubly interesting: there is no pollination, so the wilting process is much slower; it also makes them more resistant to autumnal bad weather (rain and frost down to -10° C).
The comparative table gives the summary of distinct caracteristics of the varieties distributed by SAPHO.
