A wide choice, abundant flowering and decorative appeal lasting until winter! Sapho has been a partner of GARDEN GIRLS® for over 25 years. GARDEN GIRLS® is a renowned German specialist in the selection of heather and heath plants, enabling us to offer you a range of varieties in all colours, which are very floriferous, regular and healthy for easy cultivation in pots and gardens. With their abundant, long-lasting and original flowering, GARDEN GIRLS® callunas bring significant advantages to the different types of heather. Flowing from August to December depending on the variety, they show a real improvement over classic varieties, especially in terms of the flowers that remain in bud. This feature is doubly interesting:  the flowers fade much more slowly, and they are also more resistant to autumn weather (rain and frost down to -10°C).The range offers a wide choice of flower and foliage colours, flowering periods and growth habits, from ground cover to very upright. Alone or in combination, in mass or isolated, each variety is of real interest for use in pots and in heather beds in small gardens or large communal spaces.
A precious heather for the garden. Mutant of the well-known variety 'Kramer's Rote', 'Eva Gold' possesses all its qualities: rapid growth, rounded and compact shape, long-lasting and abundant red flowers in the middle of winter for an Erica type heather. The colour of its foliage has the particularity of changing throughout the year, from the light green new growth, turning golden yellow in summer, again becoming pure green in winter. Attractive individually or in large groups, possibly planted with other heathers, 'Eva Gold' will embellish borders and slopes, as much with its remarkable flowers from November to March, as with its bright yellow colour in summer, which does not fade in the sun. It can also be planted in pots. Trophies: Praised by the Boskoop observation station (NETHERLANDS)
In the WINTER BELLES® range, beautiful white bells from autumn onwards. 'Katia' has magnificent pure white flowers against which stands out a bouquet of brown stamen. The flower clusters appear from the end of October onwards, then open fully into big bells, of a superior size to those of 'Silberschmelze', where it comes from. Its shape is round and it of good growth. The WINTER BELLES® range is made up of 'Katia', 'Lucie', 'Phoebe' and 'Tylou'. Each of these varieties can be planted individually or with others, thus bringing a harmony of colour shades in both flowers and foliage, which extend their beauty from September to April.
