Clematis SUCCESS® Bleu de Loire 'TRA3965'
In the SUCCESS® range, a blue, very floriferous Clematis
Description
This selection is particularly representative for the SUCCESS ® range. Since its flowering starts from the bottom and goes to the top, it is well adapted to be sold as 'flowering pot plants'. In the garden it differs from other varieties of traditional Clematis that have less flowers at their base.
The flowers of 12 - 16 cm in diameter of SUCCESS® Bleu de Loire develop from the end of April until June. The fine purple blue tepals form a beautiful contrast to the bordeaux-red stamens in the heart.
There is a second flowering from August to October.
Its habit is very compact and of moderate height (under 2.00 m).
Therefore Bleu de Loire can also be used in tubs to decorate the terrace or a balcony.
Care
Every year at the end of winter, cut every other branch at 50 – 80 cm.
Range
SUCCESS ®, result of the efforts of TRAVERS Nurseries, is a range of Clematis, especially created to be sold as 'flowering pot plants'.
Being exceptionally floriferous with their amount of flowers as well as the length of flowering time, they are the essential decorative element all summer long: on the table, used in tubs at the entrance of the house, on the terrace or your balcony and also, more traditionally, planted directly in the garden.
Every variety has its colour:
- Bleu de Loire 'TRA3965': purple blue,
- Candy 'TRA415': pink
- Lavender 'TRA27': lavender blue,
- Magenta 'TRA73': red
