This variety, fruit of the breeding efforts carried out by the nurseries MINIER is an improvement on their previous product RUSSIAN VIOLET® 'Floru'. Having a more regular and more vigorous growth RUSSIAN VIOLET® II 'MYNSYRU3' it is covered during July and August in bigger, simple, violet pink to lavender flowers with a garnet centre.
It is hardy, like all the other Hibiscus varieties.
Being floriferous, RUSSIAN VIOLET® II enhances during the summer the range of colours presented by the other Hibiscus varieties released by SAPHO, which they go well with harmoniously.
Cut back hard at the end of winter (only leave 3 or 4 buds per stem), to favour abundant flowering. Cutting it short, also allows to keep the shrub in moderate dimensions.
