Really red!The flowering-period ranges from May to October. These quite long clusters of flower heads are well stocked with good sized flowers that are of a new deep velvet red, enhanced by the dark brown calix.The glossy dark green, semi-evergreen foliage is aromatic.These are easy garden plants, in well draining soil, but can also be grown in pots. The first Spirea betulifolia dressed in pinkThis Spirea has a very compact growth like a dense pillow and a ground cover. It has bright light green foliage. This is the first selection of the Betulifolia species whith coloured corymbs.
