Magenta CHIFFON has all the characteristics of the celebrated range of Chiffon hibiscus: an abundant summer flowering of large double chiffon-centred flowers which open up completely. It adds a splash of violet-red magenta to the garden and continues flowering to the end of summer. A vigorous, well branched shrub, it requires spring pruning. Good results can equally be had whether grown in containers or in the ground.

The varieties of the CHIFFON range with partially petal-shaped flowers of about 10 centimeters in diameter, have a "mousseline de soie" appearance (CHIFFON in English), which gives the plant elegance and lightness.
The wilted flowers don't stay on the plant, they drop off. As early as single flowered Hibiscus, these cultivations with abundant summer flowers are particularly ornamental in the summer.
Vigorous, these Hibiscus, 2 to 3 m high and 1 to 2 m in diameter, are interesting as they keep their branched-out shape. Six varieties: CHINA, LAVENDER, WHITE CHIFFON, PINK CHIFFON, BLUE CHIFFON et MAGENTA CHIFFON are distributed by SAPHO.
