Hibiscus syriacus PINK GIANT® 'Flogi'

Hardiness : hardy (-20°C)

Foliage : deciduous

Position : sunny

Seasons of interest : summer

In a hedge, in beds or stem-grafted, this deep pink hibiscus makes an impression.

Description

This extremely vigorous variety can grow up to 2 to 2.5 m in height and is very bushy.
The flowering period lasts for nearly three months, mostly from mid-July to the end of September. The deep pink flowers with a red heart are numerous and very attractive.
It is hardy, like all the other hibiscus varieties.
PINK GIANT ® gives summer decor to flowering hedges and shrub borders. It completes the colour range presented by the other hibiscus varieties, offered by SAPHO, with which it associates harmoniously. Stem-grafted, it can be used as single plant.

Care

Cut back hard at the end of winter (only leave 3 or 4 buds per stem), to favour abundant flowering. Cutting it short, also allows to keep the shrub in moderate dimensions.
